Guidelines

The currency used within CC is called moss. You can earn moss by creating pieces: be it artwork, writing or roleplaying. Below are guidelines around how much moss you can earn by including certain details within your pieces. To see the things you can buy with your moss savings, visit the Moss Shop.

You don't need to worry about counting your moss — we have a currency bot that will hold your moss earnings for you!

You may only submit 4 submissions per day.

Comic pages that have more than 5 panels & animations / PMVs must be turned in alone & count as your 4 submissions.

Earnings

01 — Artwork

Headshot — 5 moss

Halfbody — 10 moss

Fullbody — 15 moss

Sketched — 5 moss

Lined — 10 moss

Coloured — 10 moss

Shaded — 5 moss

Lineless — 30 moss

Can't be stacked with sketched, lined, coloured or painted.

Painted — 45 moss

Can't be stacked with sketched, lined, coloured or lineless.

Simple Background — 5 moss

Basic (e.g. ground & sky).

Intermediate Background — 10 moss

Includes two elements (e.g. trees, bushes, etc).

Complex Background — 15 moss

Includes more than four elements (e.g. trees, bushes, etc).

Small Pixel — 40 moss

50x50 to 200x200.
Cannot be stacked with sketch, lined or coloured.

Large Pixel — 25 moss

Bigger than 200x200.
Cannot be stacked with sketch, lined or coloured.

Animation — 2 moss per frame

Doesn't count small animations (e.g. speckles, shifting light, etc) or double frames.

Collab Bonus — 10 moss

03 — Writing

0-500 words — 5 moss

500-1000 words — 10 moss

1000-1500 words — 20 moss

1500-2000 words — 35 moss

2000-2500 words — 55 moss

Goes up in increments of 5, 10, 15, 20 and so on.

Roleplay Bonus — 10 moss

Heavy Interaction Bonus — 15 moss

More than 2k+ words (individually).

03 — Bonuses

Monthly Badge Bonus — 10 moss

Meme Bonus — 10 moss

Event Bonus — 10 moss

Ceremony Bonus — 5 moss

Leader Bonus — 20 moss

High Rank Bonus — 15 moss

Apprentice / Mentor Bonus — 10 moss

PC Bonus — 5 moss

Per character played by another member.
For all interactions with member played characters, they must have a substantial role (for art: must be both fully shown in the piece, for writing: not just mentioned, must have a few speaking lines / responses if mute).

NPC Bonus — 5 moss

Per official NPC character.

CotM / MotM Bonus — 15 moss

Rewarded if you draw the CotM or one of the MotM's characters.

Gift Art Bonus — 10 moss

Rewarded if you draw gift art for someone else's character. NOT for commissioned work.
