A character’s level of Prestige determines how well-known they are throughout the Glade. The higher someone’s Prestige is, the more actions may be unlocked depending on the situation.

• For example, if a new NPC is met and a character is trying to persuade / influence them, they could use their Prestige to their advantage to gain a luck boost.

• Alternatively, having over a certain Prestige Tier could give you unique choices or actions which could also depend on whether you have positive or negative Prestige.

 

Other in character rewards can also be achieved through a character’s prestige level.

• Including: being qualified for higher ranks, being assigned special tasks, having a more important role in specific plots/events, having more leverage with the leader in some scenarios, etc.

• More rewards are always open to being added, and suggestions are welcome.

 

The Tiers:

• Tier 0: Unknown

  • Every character starts here, their total Prestige being 0.

• Tier I: Notable

  • They gain Tier I once their total Prestige reaches 25.

  • High Ranks will start here.

• Tier II: Reputable

  • They gain Tier II once their total Prestige reaches 75.

  • Leaders will start here.

• After Tier II, Prestige splits up into…

• Tier III: (+)Esteemed | (-)Unprincipled

  • They gain Tier III once their total Prestige reaches 150.

• Tier IV: (+)Acclaimed | (-)Dishonoured

  • They gain Tier IV once their total Prestige reaches 250.

• Tier V: (+)Renowned | (-)Infamous

  • They gain Tier V once their total Prestige reaches 400.

 

How do you earn Prestige?

• Simple! You just have to participate in our events; the more present your characters seem to be, the higher Prestige reward they’ll receive — someone has to complete feats in order to earn a name for themselves, after all.​

  • At the end of events, a staff member will tally up your rewards which can include Moss and Prestige. They will also add any Prestige gained automatically to your character and give you your moss rewards through the server currency bot!

• We will also have Prestige Tasks available every so often that characters can complete, earning them Prestige as well as other rewards! New tasks will be added either as they're completed, or when staff think it fit.

 

Can I purchase Prestige Tiers?

• Yes! Purchasing higher Prestige Tiers will be available, though they will be expensive — it is far better to achieve these Tiers through canon events, both for character development and a sense of pride. 

 

Can I reset my character’s Prestige?

• This is also a yes. You will have the option in the shop to “Reset Prestige” — though you’ll only be able to decrease by one Tier at a time. If you’d like to reset more than one Tier, the price of a reset will stack. For example, if a character was Dishonoured (Tier IV) but a player wished to reset their Prestige to choose a positive path, they’d have to buy the reset item twice to bring them back to Tier III. This is solely because a character cannot suddenly change from negative Prestige to positive Prestige or vice versa; you can only choose a positive or negative path from Tier III.
