Mateship
01 — Guidelines
-
Mates must include characters from separate players. All players must pay the appropriate amount of moss to become mates. Polyamorous relationships are allowed — all purchases are just split between the amount of characters included.
-
Apprentices cannot have mates. A character must be 12+ moons to have a mate.
-
Don’t make a character just to become a player's character's mate. We want you to create a character because you see potential in them & are interested in their development.
02 — Requirements
-
To become mates, you must complete 4 roleplays or collabs together (at least 600 words each or lined, coloured + shaded with an intermediate background).
-
For polyamorous relationships, these roleplays and collabs still have to have each player participate in some way. Please state which player did what in the description if it’s a collab.
-
1 of these roleplays or collabs must be a date or a confession! There are no strict guidelines for this, it just has to suggest a romantic relationship in some way.
-
When you’ve got all these requirements completed, please open a ticket in the Discord server using the below form.

Litters
01 — Guidelines
-
There are a maximum of 6 kits in a litter.
-
Please send in a litter request when slots become available. Do not just make a litter. Available slots can be found in the slot information journal.
-
All litter parents must agree to have a litter, which means all their players must pay the appropriate moss. Polyamorous relationships can either choose one sire, or ask StarClan for a shared parentage litter. Same-sex couples also ask StarClan for kits.
-
You cannot have a new litter until your previous litter has reached 10 moons in age.
-
If a kit is unsuccessful in being adopted, it can either be pronounced dead or a new tryout can be held later (when they're an apprentice, for example).
-
Players must wait one month for a litter to be born, a period heavily recommended for holding tryouts. However, if all kits have found appropriate players before this deadline, the litter can be born earlier.
-
Apprentices cannot have kits. A cat must be 16+ moons old to have kits, unless you buy the Young Parent Litter item from the Moss Shop.
-
Medicine cats can have kits, though must have an apprentice trained enough to stand in for them during this time.
-
All other high ranks can have kits but must step down from their duties when this happens, & the leader will assign a replacement. A leader & deputy of the same clan are not allowed to have a litter at the same time, ensuring there's always someone to lead the Clan.
02 — Requirements
-
Litter sizes are based entirely on the amount of interaction and effort the parents make. 1 roleplay or collab equals 1 kit in the litter — so if the parents complete 6 roleplays or collabs, they would have 6 kits.
-
For polyamorous relationships, these roleplays and collabs still have to have each player participate in some way. Please state which player did what in the description if it’s a collab.
-
-
All of these roleplays must be related to having kits / a family / the parents’ relationship in some way.
